Postings
Sorry Yall, its been crazy busy lately. With getting sick around spanksgiving and then moving, along with work and not xmas, my schedule has been on ludacris speed for a while now. Along with moving all my stuff, I also had to say good-bye to a good friend... so it is with great disappointment that I wish a rest in peace to my good friend, spending money. With the death of spending money also brings the temporary delay of this blog, which isnt free in terms of distributing files. So all files will be inactive for the time being, until the spending money zombie shows its rotting face. I will however soon post some pics of the new crib for those of you who haven't seen it. I will be having a party on Dec. 22, in case all 3 or you who read this haven't heard. More to come. Laters folk.

Deastro
I saw this G last night in Pontiac and to say the least he was sick. One man show that changes the instruments he plays from song to song and loops his own recording behind him, which was highlighted best when he was drumming and singing the last three songs. Dude was on level and was selling his 34 track album for $10. damn. Take a listen. Enjoi!

Adams weekly music request
Adam emails me usually every Sunday asking for something. This time it was The Rapture. It took me two long days, well, I didn't really look yesterday, but today I came up with the discography. One Love.

Lets cover one point before I give this to you. I am not, NOT, a fan on this show. I am in fact not an over-weight, angst ridden teenage girl. However, this shit is funny. Don't be cooler than funny. Enjoy!

Cover Me Bad!
Corrine Bailey Rae - Steady As She Goes
Klaxons - No Diggity
Maximo Park - Like I Love You
Robbie Williams - Lola
Stereophonics - You Sexy Thing
The Pigeon Detective - The Power of Love
The Streets - Your Song
Definitely listen to this Streets cover of "Your Song" as it's pretty f'n amazing. For some reason, my gut instinct was to not like this guy when he first came out. That was horribly wrong. This dude gets better every time I listen to him and this take on Your Song only proves that.

show me this parka and I'll show you the money!!
"Combining classic Star Wars imagery, concept art and characters with the style and artistic flair of street culture, the collection will feature such pieces as a premium "Fett for Real" sweatshirt, a stone Yoda graphic tee and the "Ultimate Vader" hoodie, among various other items. Many of the items are beaded, embroidered or feature extra embellishments that add to its fashion flair. Ecko also designed an authentic-style Hoth Parka as seen worn by Han Solo in The Empire Strikes Back."

Listen to what Mos says... then listen to what Kanye says... In other words, just watch the damn video and see for yourself how much better Mos is.

and to follow that gem up.. you might be wondering, "Where is the Ultimate Warrior these days." Well he's on Fox News and he's still the same guy who, on broadcast television, told kids to pray that Hulk Hogan's plane would crash so he would die and not be able to wrestle the Warrior at SummerSlam. same guy...
I seriously wish I was clever enough to make this up....
Phil Collins versus The Ultimate Warrior.

The Motorola RAZR2. You're thinking, why don't I have one. Well, its really a simple answer. It's shitty. And you can't sell a shitty phone with a worse commercial. You've all seen the add that plays possibly the worst music edit of all time in Le Disco by Shiny Toy Guns. It also features a real bastardization of the fight outside the train from Underworld. All in all the commercial would have been lame in the 90's and what does that say? The kick in the pants about all of it is that this exists.
Gondry - RAZR2
This commercial is amazing, why didn't this run in theaters. Instead they have to smite my hard cash that I paid to see Resident Evil 3 with this shitty speed ramp bonanza. I don't understand.

And just let me say.... You're Welcome!
So it gives me great pleasure (you don't even know) to be able to present the first blissful glimpse of Wes Anderson's Hotel Chevalier. This will be the first non-clothed image of Natalie Portman you will see. It's everything you thought it would be. Zac describes things like this as "punishment for my wang." I agree thoroughly with this and might even add that this very well could be "finding my wang hinding in a iraqi hole, trying it in international military court, publicly executing it, and then leaking my wang on the you tube..... using nothing but pleasure."

I feel so special
An album that I wanted people to hear, from the band His Name Is Alive, has been deleted from this blog for a violation of terms of service. On MY blog... Lets be real here His Name is Alive... you're an indie band.. and not a huge indie band at that. Really, you are killing my blog. You should be thanking me. I get the whole money thing, but the people who are D/L'ing this from indulgeyourboredom.blogspot.com have no fucking clue who you are, and you might have gotten a few fans out of it. So I encourage you, His Name is Alive, to kiss my ass and have a good year or two. Email what your new bands are called. Thanks.
P.S. NO ONE downloaded your album, I can track that. Nice work.

Help Marc Ecko's Ego...
Mark Eco's ego needs help. Today is in fact Wednesday (theres that spelling again), and good old Mark hasn't been talked about in the media for a few too many hours. Ecko bought the 756th home run ball hit by Barry Bonds. He wants you, yes you, Joe Public, to vote on the outcome of this ball. Here are your options:
A. Vote to Bestow It.

B. Vote to Brand It.

C. Vote to Banish It.

... and yes, in televised interview, this crazy fuck actually intends to send this ball into space. Lets shove this ball up Lance Bass's ass and solve two debates at once. Vote now at www.vote756.com

On most Friday nights you can find me at the club, bottle full of 'bub, and I'd have that X if you're into takin drugs.... but no.. not this Friday. This Friday I will be here:

This film is the second highest grossing Korean film of all time and it's on course to take the lead spot away from that awful mess that everyone but me loves, The Host. Blah!
Anyways, go see D-war (Dragon War) and then go get off a bottle. Pour one out for home and then put up the mitten. Peace.

New music has arrived. I don't know to what extent I like all these bands yet, I havent had hours and hours free to listen to them, but I did listen and they are all pretty sick in their own ways. I think they are all worthy of a full album listen and think they also make a pretty dope playlist. Do it up and comment if you like them or not. Wednesday Suprise
Wednesday is the most ridiculous spelling of this day rationally possible. Seriously. Moving forward. Does anyone remember on Muppet Babies, Gonzo and his race of creature were frequently referred to as "weirdos"??? Is anyone as highly amused by this as I am. The very first episode is called "Romancing the Weirdo". Amazing! I couldn't ask for anything better. If you don't recall, "weirdo" was a great synonym for getting blown. Muppet Babies has surpassed nostalgia and crossed into pure genius.

I know I've talked this album up like I'm rep'n it on QVC but seriously, I think it gets better as I keep listening to it. The Previous Mark Ronson record was good, but anyone with 500k, new york club cred, famous friends, and sick dj skills could have slopped it together. "Version" very much showcases that this guy isnt just a bunch of money with thumbs. Fresh off producing the Amy Winehouse album that is sending that bitch to Belleview in an Acme go-kart, it feels like this record is just mature enough to make you blow your best girl friend in her daddys bed. Aiight!

This man's birthday is just two days after mine. I feel like the belle of the ball. Other than wetting your appetite for cozy 70's cotton athletic gear, Wilson Pickett is responsible for some ultra soul that makes you want to sing songs you don't know the words to. A litlle J Brown with a little ... Little Richard. This album is best served with casual whiskey.

If you aren't watching Flight of the Conchords you obviously have no soul and in turn should leave my blog immediately. Flight is about a kiwi duo living in NY trying to make it as a folk act. These dudes are musical geniuses and Jermaine manages to look like Mick Jaggar and Pull the best Bowie impersonation I've ever seen. It runs on Sundays at 10:30 following the ever dwindling Entourage. The show walks a beautiful line somewhere in between the humor of the brit Office and the yank Office, while snagging you in with catchy parodys that fuck my socks off.
